An AI Interviewer That Conducts
Real Conversations, Not Scripted Quizzes

An AI interviewer is an intelligent agent that screens candidates by having actual conversations with them — asking questions, listening to responses, following up, and evaluating performance.

Not a chatbot. Not a one-way video recorder.

A conversational AI that replicates what a skilled human recruiter does in a first-round interview, but at scale and with perfect consistency.

How Our AI Interviewer Works

Our AI interviewer runs on a real-time speech-to-speech pipeline. The candidate speaks naturally. The AI processes the audio, understands the content and context of the response, and generates a relevant follow-up — all within seconds. There’s no "please wait while we process your answer." It’s a fluid, natural conversation.

Behind the scenes, the system uses a multi-model architecture. Voice processing handles speech-to-text and text-to-speech conversion with natural prosody. A language model powers the conversational logic — deciding what to ask next based on the role requirements, the evaluation rubric, and everything the candidate has said so far. A separate evaluation model scores responses against the custom rubric in real-time, building the assessment as the conversation unfolds.

Agent vs Bot

The Bot

The word matters because the behaviour is different. An interview bot follows a predetermined script: Question 1 → Answer →Question 2 → Answer. It can't deviate, can't probe, and can't tell the difference between a great answer and a terrible one during the interview itself. It's a form with a microphone.

The Agent

Our AI interviewer is an agent: it has goals (assess these specific skills), constraints (follow this rubric, maintain this difficulty), and autonomy (decide what to ask next based on what it's heard). When a candidate gives a vague answer about "improving team performance," the agent asks what specific actions they took. When someone demonstrates deep knowledge in one area, it moves to harder territory instead of repeating easier questions.

What Recruiters Get

After every AI interview, recruiters receive a comprehensive report: per-skill scores backed by transcript citations, confidence indicators for each assessment, red and green flags, and an AI-generated summary. Every score links to the specific moment in the interview where that assessment was made. Recruiters can verify any score by watching the timestamped video clip.

The candidate comparison hub lets teams evaluate multiple candidates side-by-side with radar charts, score distributions, and AI-generated comparison summaries. Decisions are based on structured data, not interviewer notes from memory.

Custom Rubrics

Every company evaluates differently. What "strong communication" means at a startup is different from what it means at a consulting firm. Our AI interviewer uses custom scoring rubrics that you define — strong/average/weak criteria for each skill, weighted importance, seniority-adjusted difficulty. The AI evaluates against your bar, not a generic industry standard.
